Roofstock Careers Page Update

In 2022, Roofstock migrated from an Engineer-dependent website to a headless CMS (via Contentful). As this migration continued, the Content Marketing team was asked to update our Careers page and simultaneously migrate it to the new CMS. We took this as an opportunity to re-address how we were speaking to potential candidates, how we presented ourselves as a company, and of course, addressed the major disconnect between the old website aesthetic + the new vision moving forward.

Updated Iconography

While this is a larger ongoing project, the iconography at Roofstock had a disconnect between product and marketing design. These icons were created with that disconnect in mind, in an effort to have a more cohesive approach across the website moving forward.

On-Brand Color Palette

As the company moved towards a more high-end audience, we worked to pare down the color palette utilized throughout all visuals. This updated landing page focuses on white space, with subtle, soft gray dividers and accents of our Roofstock orange and Fintech blue.

ADA Compliance

For anyone that knows a thing or two about web accessibility, they’ll know that the original design was not created with ADA compliance in mind. We took this redesign as an opportunity to ensure that any page visitors and potential candidates will have no issue reading any content provided.
